Aditya Dip (born 1992) is a highly accomplished multi-instrumentalist from Varanasi, deeply rooted in the traditional lineage of North Indian classical music. He received rigorous technical and theoretical guidance under the able mentorship of the eminent maestro Pt. Shrikant Mishra. Aditya has shared platforms and performed alongside iconic standard artists including Padma Bhushan Pt. Sajan Mishra, Padmashree Pt. Ritwik Sanyal, Padmashree Pt. Gundecha Brothers, SNA Awardee Pt. Premkumar Mallik, SNA Awardee Pt. Pushparaj Koshti, SNA Awardee Ustad Bahauddin Dagar, SNA Awardee Pt. Uday Bhawalkar, Pt. Ajay Pasanna, Pt. Sukhadev Chaturvedi, Pt. Ravindra Narayan Goswami, Pt. Rajshekar Vyas, Gianni Ricchizzi (Ganga), Padmashri Anup Jalota, Vidhi Nagar, Pt. Ram Manohar Maharaj, Sourabh-Gourav Mishra, and Shri Vishal Krishna. He holds outstanding excellence in raag-based vocal accompaniment and equal proficiency in complex solo presentations, classical duets, and traditional dance formatting accompaniment.
Aditya received inspiration and a keen love for music in his early childhood, completing his Sangeet Prabhakar degree from the prestigious Prayag Sangit Samiti (PSS), Allahabad. Qualified in advanced techniques and musicological frameworks from the eminent masters of the Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Faculty of Performing Arts Varanasi, he holds a Master’s degree in Music from BHU, making him an exceptionally analytical educator for both global and domestic students.
